The battery can be anywhere on the body as long as it's connectable to the head. The LEDs and fan can run off a single battery with proper current limiting for the LEDs. Small batteries might be able to keep everything in the head, but they require recharging more frequently than larger ones.
Thanks! Do you have any resources that you would suggest to help me out a wee bit more? I'm relatively inexperienced when it comes to anything more than LEDs
How to best calculate the current and which resistors to use / where to put them would be really great-- so if you know any good basic websites that would be amazing. I wish I had paid more attention in physics class!
the best idea I've herd is useing a rechargable battery pack, like the R/C cars from radio shack or such, placed on the tailbelt with a inline switch and fuse so you can switch out battries for a recharged one
I have 3 CPU fans in my head and the 2 9V battries last for like 3 or 4 hrs so it get costly over time so i'm goingto change to the packs soon
