First suit completed!
Hey all, after being in this community for a while I'm really excited to finally share something with you. I finished my first suit just in time for AC last weekend. And when I say just, I mean I packed hand-sewing supplies and glue guns! But I finished him in time to suit quite a bit, and have gathered some photos from the weekend (all taken by my bf Bijou Wolf).
There are a few things I'm going to go back and tweak now that I have more time (trimming the leg length a tad, going over his face with clippers for another pass, sewing the handpaws to the wrists, picking the seams!) but overall I am really happy with how this came out. The head is light and fits perfectly, the vision is great with a minimal blind spot, and the bodysuit is comfortable and decently-fitted for being made very quickly before running to the airport. I'm also really happy with the handpaws, which aren't anything special except after much trial and error I finally developed a pattern I like, that fits perfectly, and a technique to sew them that doesn't make me angry ;)
