HD vs. SD video capture and best equipment for the average user

HD all the way. I already have the CanonHV20 and I love it. They even made an upgraded to it with the HV30. Not sure if they will do any more updates to this great little system as most of these camera are all going hard drive based.

I'm using the Canon HF S100 for a while and all things considered, it suits my purpose and I'm happy with it. Notwithstanding the fact that my hardware can just barely edit AVCHD format videos.
