Sundays were good for getting work done at the school, as there were no classes that day and Remus was able to do whatever marking or planning he needed to do in relative peace. His preference was to keep things as organised as possible, as well, for easy reference, and Sunday was generally the one day of the week he had to do that since the rest of the time there were classes going on. There was late evening, of course, but Remus preferred to spend that time with his wife and son. Being headmaster and teaching two classes kept him busy, and he tried to give them as much of his free time as he could.

Once the bookshelves and various school supplies were back in order, Remus sat at his desk with the latest batch of essays to mark. The next thing he knew, he was stifling a yawn, and when he got up and went to the window, the shadows along the path were lengthening as the sun began to set. Remus covered his mouth against another wide yawn as he went back to his desk, where he gathered up the essays and put them away to be returned at the next class.
