Actually, this was Fandom, forget that. Still, it promised to be interesting, at the least. And hopefully it would ease some of the lingering tension he still felt around Aphrodite.

"You're here." Stating the obvious, the best way to put off real conversation.
She glanced at what he was wearing. "Are you sure you'll be comfortable in that?" 'Dite herself was wearing a faded t-shirt and a pair of cut-offs that weren't nearly as cut off as she usually wore, but she did have a dark sweater thrown over her shoulders. "It's still light and warm in California, but it'll get cool later in the dark."

She folded her arms and looked at him seriously. "Now. Max. We're going somewhere where there'll be a lot of kids. Lots of them. All ages. Little kids. Little little kids. And parents. Who sometimes don't watch over their kids, but that's for a rant, not a tag. Anyway. I just want to make sure you were aware of that. If you don't want to deal with them, we can just get dinner first and then wait for fireworks."
Though she really hoped he could deal. One Max glare would keep the teenagers away, and besides, she thought he'd enjoy Astro-Blasters.
