So, I cosplay. Or at least I try to cosplay.

This summer I'm headed out to A-Kon with powercorrupts and my original plan was to go as Tieria Erde from Gundam 00. But the more I play FFXIII the more I really want to try cosplaying as LightningI'm kind of tall for a girl so cosplaying female characters is usually a pain in the ass because I tower over the rest

I'm 5'8 / 173cm. So we're around the same.

I can get away with playing androgynous males because the height is forgiven because I'm pretty, idk.

I WOULD COSPLAY VANILLE BUT OH GOD EXPOSED MIDRIFF, I CAN'T DO THAT.

The details on Lightning's clothes will give your costume such a huge wow factor. If you have the time and patience I'd totally go for it. It'd be really fun to wear, too. And you can be a girl!

Yeah, I have ... about two months to make the costume so I figure that's plenty of time to work out the details and do a ton of fine-tuning.

TEXAS IS SO HOT, I THINK I LIKE THE IDEA OF WEARING THE EQUIVALENT OF A MINISKIRT AND TANK TOP.

Yeah, I was dying in the Zero costume last year. I knew it would be hot but it's like I forgot I would be wearing fifty zillion layers.
