describe yourself in 10 tropes

ikel89 came up with this meme - it is so fun! I highly recommend doing this even if you don't post it (though maybe not if you have an important paper due sometime in the next 48 hours - TVTropes can literally suck the time out of your life until you are blinking at the sunlight of the morning after next and wondering why you're so thirsty).

describe yourself in ten tropes )

Your meme came out really nicely and very consistent - it's very neat how one trope basically continues the idea put forward by the previous one:) So thank you, it was really interesting:) Also, I enjoyed your tsundere reference, lol:D

...I never thought about this, but I think INTJ could itself be a personality trope, 'cause a lot of these things often go together in characters, haha (is Batman?? well, Batman isn't an otaku).

I think it's pretty much a given that typed personalities are a lot like tropes! They're just harder to distill when talking about media. Batman is an example of Good is Not Nice but that's all I've got. XD

There goes at least a few hours! Anytime I end up on tropes, I might as well clear the rest of my schedule.

The Snark Knight. LOL. When I clicked on it there was just a pic of you. ;)

Well, this was timely! It's like an intro pamphlet to your personality, very handy. And I have a really big soft spot for Snark Knights and feel extra comfortable with I Am What I Am's (wow that's awkwardly phrased, blaming this on the time of day, I can't do words before noon to be honest), so, good to know.

Definitely going to give this a whirl; I have ten hours to kill at work here, so bring it on, TVT.

\o/ Snark Knights are not the easiest people to get along with so I always want to put everyone with a soft spot for us in my pocket.~(❁´◡`❁)*✲゚*

I hope you post your results too! :D

Most of my very best friends over the years have been Snark Knights, now that I think about it. I must have a type. (My best friend now has been my best friend for seven years, and she's an I Am What I Am, too. Quite a few burned bridges in her wake, but I seem to be less "bridge" than "ground." We've had all of... two real fights, in all this time.) So. :D

This is part of the reason I am reluctant to start new things: I know that once I have actually decided to go through with something I will not stop, but because I am lazy I just don't wanna

Haha, I've never distilled it quite that succinctly, but I came to the conclusion that this is part of my aversion to trying new things, too (despite me having an adaptable personality) -- I can't bear to half-ass anything, so if I have to do something new, I know I'll be going at it full-tilt, and I'd rather just chill and surf the web instead...

precisely!!! It has always bewildered me that I adapt to forced-upon-me change so easily (if not happily...) but Try New Things? no thank you. I always struggled to resolve my off-the-scale conscientiousness scores with my complete disinterest in "new things" then I just decided I don't mind being so contradictory.
