ASDFGHJKL Sorry about the incoherent comment...I'm still trying to calm down after being tantalizingly compelled to cry, coo, and cackle by a single fic. It has credible plot, gorgeous writing style and superb characterization. The only thing I can criticize is the dog's lifespan, which is less than 2 decades in most cases, and therefore, it'd be more appropriate to put Sadaharu III instead of II here...unless you specifically mentioned that Sadaharu has longer lifespan than ordinary dogs or if there was another dog in-between the first and second Sadaharus.

That's a good point about the dog! My thought was that Sadaharu II was a recent acquisition (in my mind, he is a 5-yo Dachshund-looking critter) but that's nowhere in the fic so it can totally be interpreted as "Sadaharu II was there since they moved in together".
