re: your complaint: Wow, I must REALLY suck at writing fanfiction for the internet then, since I don't ever post it, and the one drabble I DID post only got commented on by two people. EPIC FAIL ON MY PART, according to this person. (It is very good, then, that I write it for my own amusement first and only secondly for the amusement of others. I don't think I would write [or make icons] at all if I was doing it primarily for other people.)

Yeah, the difference is between writing and posting, really. I don't write in anticipation of reviews, but when I post what I write online, I'm obviously doing it because I'd like other people to at least read it. But writing in order to get comments? Plz.
