Oh, no! Didn't you just say you're worried you won't get to see how that series ends? :( I'm sorry.

I'm not sad because he won't finish A Memory of Light. I'm sure his family will publish the last book post-humously; he'd left notes and had a good-sized chunk of it written despite his illness.

I'm sad because a writer whose I work I loved is no longer breathing. :(

I know - I'm sorry about that as well. I'm sorry I didn't phrase it well enough :(

Oh no. That's a very sad loss. And from what I gathered, he was so worried he couldn't finish his work personally :(
I must admit that I haven't even had the time to finish reading The Eye of the World yet (which I bought some months ago or so), but he was definitely a great fantasy writer.

He did tell the story to his family so that they could publish it after his death if they chose. But it won't be the same. :(

I wasn't reading him anymore, but this feels like the end of an era :( I feel very sorry for his family as well. He seemed like a cool guy and fought his illness with so much optimism.

Oh, I'm sorry. :(

I always meant to read his books and never got around to it, but he was the favorite writer of at least one friend of mine. It's so strange to hear he's gone now.

His books are definitely worth it, at least the first 7 or so in the series. It's one of the most richly imagined fantasy worlds that I've ever seen in fantasy. :\
