This is mostly a housekeeping post. I have no new information to contribute regarding the current kerfuffle, so if you're looking to find out wuzzgoinon, I invite you to visit elke_tanzer's very comprehensive giant post o'links on the subject. Somehow I doubt there are a lot of people reading this journal who don't yet know what's going on, though. What ( Read more... )

LJ says there will be something on lj_biz tonight! http://news.livejournal.com/100610.html?thread=60163842#t60163842

Most hilarious possible outcome: they make burr86 post it.

Okay ... that just seriously made me laugh. Somehow I suspect that burr86 won't be posting anything for awhile. (at least I hope not, unless it is an abject apology.)

Over all, the general feeling is making me twitchy. I am rather laid backish, but seriously... if I wasn't pissed as all fuck right now then I may as well have been playing by myself in a sandbox.

I am not rushing to leave LJ either, but when the mass exodus comes, and it will I feel, I won't be sad to say "adieu"

I have a permanent account, which means I give them no money, ever again, for enjoying all the perks of a paid account and using the fuck out of the service.

That's the best argument I've heard yet for getting a paid account. ;)

As to the rest, well put.

vacationing with sucky internet so my comment just got eated >__<

I'll be mirroring my lj when I get back home, and was wondering if you're planning on mirroring your posts on blogspot, tabulas.com or wordpress? I can't really see the LJ clones as long term solutions and might just use those accounts to keep track of the f-listers who move to those sites...

*hugs* Focus on sectus and save the rage for when you're done with it :(

Both Pond and elaboration were on my flist and they are two people that I would never have imagined could be BANNED from LJ.

I missed a lot of it being in Alaska and Canada, but I was floored when I finally got to my email and heard about it.
