squee! a post for me!!! :D those things look really really delicious! i'm so jealous that i can't find them! two more asian grocery stores to try. you do find them in the kamaboko/chikuwa section, right? maybe i'm looking in the wrong place...

<3 I like doing informative posts.... XD but I rarely have the reason to.

:O I wouldnt call them a delicacy or anything but they are more or less the hotdogs of the fish world. XD Good in fried rice.

That is where I always find it. My store has the fish counter on one side then next to it tofu and processed fish products like chikuwa and kamaboko.

You could try asking the managers if they ever get it in or if they could start stocking it. Not all stores will do that... but some take special orders.
