Per the usual, I will be running Rage in the game room at FurFright and bringing along the stack of loaner games.

Conveniently I made a list of what appeared between my personal collection and spotweld Most of the stuff on this list should be available in the game room again.

I should finally get around to making myself an account for BBG so I can update that list. (Need to add Gulo Gulo at least!)

I'll do a new one for this year too as there's one for the 2006 con as well.

Here via a couple of furry LJ communities (eg furrtive)... what's with disabling comments on those posts? I appreciate that comments are on here, but even so.

Additionally, at least one of these communities, I believe, will delete posts with disabled comments. Please check the policy of the various communities before doing this.

furrtive doesn't like disabled-comment posts, I know that much. The problem is that when someone posts the same advert (since that's what it is) to a number of communities in a short space of time, and makes all of them comments-disabled, it looks - well, to be honest it looks like spam. And some maintainers are going to treat it as such even where that wasn't the intention. =:S

I've read the profiles of all the furry communities to which we were posting and none of them mention the need for comments being enabled. Of course, if we know a specific group has these policies, we will happily change the settings for our post.

*hugs*

Could we maaaaaaaaybe space out the newsletter posting slightly? Do half on a different day. My friends list becomes the wall of the FurFright newsletter clones. Jeez.
