That was always one of the things that bugged me about IM1 was that Tony didn't show any signs of PTSD or anything to go along with his motivation to work so hard on the Mach 2.

Like in 'cast away' when Tom Hanks can't sleep in a bed and has to sleep on the floor after he's rescued, and still likes to talk to his 'Wilson' ball.

That's exactly how I felt :) I think I've only read one other story that delt with the PTSD thing. I'd have thought people would have been all over it like ants at a picnic but, alas, I was wrong :(

:) Thanks! I love hurt/comfort fics soooo much and this fandom has so much potential for them! He may be Ironman, but Tony Stark is still just a human under his armor and even he sometimes needs a cuddle :)
