Left Wrist

I saw the other hand surgeon today, the one who does wrist replacements. He told me they last 8-10 years and can sometimes last up to 12. Then the replacement can either be replaced, fixed, or the wrist can be fused. So, I'll be going with the replacement, likely in a month or so. This, at least, is good news.

Im sooooo glad you can get your wrist replaced versus fused... that should hopefully work better and be more functional... and 9-10 years is average for a lot of joints so thats good too!!!

Maybe they will give you a nice comfy splint for recovery, i suggest asking... requesting casue they are very soft while having the rigid stuff inside and feel good agains tpain issues. I find that they dont cause problems to trigger points from my myofascial and fibro stuff so maybe this is an argument you can use so they will get this for you in recovering.

Im really ReALLY sorry to hear about your dear cat Sugar. I know how it is to loose a cat and a intelligent loving siamese at that. They are awesome cats among other cats who are great as well. I think that prolonging her suffering si something you dont want to do and i hope that you are able to cope with it. You surely dont need less coping defences while dealing with the surgery and the lack of medication if you have to come off again .. blah...

hugsssss
