Some of you know the tremendous impact the Arthritis Foundation has had on my life. But for those of you who don't, the Arthritis Foundation sponsors a camp for kids with arthritis in New England called Camp Dartmouth-Hitchcock. For 10 years, I attended that camp, and being around other kids with arthritis helped improve my self esteem, form a positive self-image, and develop empathy towards others who have it worse than I do. Last year, I decided I wanted to try to show my gratitude to the Arthritis Foundation by participating in their annual Arthritis Walk.
I'm infinitely grateful to the Arthritis Foundation, not only for the arthritis camps they provide, but for all the support groups, research, and information they sponsor. This year, I'm continuing my effort to show my gratitude to the AF by walking again.
If any of you who are local wish to walk with me, please feel free to join my team. If any of you wish to sponsor me, I would greatly appreciate it. Here's the link to my Arthritis Walk page:
