omg. that sucks. appeal -- apparentally they reject a lot, which doesn't make much sense, I mean, I understand that they don't want to give ssi to people that are going to take advantage of it, but if people do need ssi then it's just going to take even more of the effort and time (and $$$) that they don't have to complete all the paperwork. The gov't sucks.

I find it funny that these people can judge something so life-affecting just by looking at some pieces of paper. How about they come to your home and see for themselves just what everday life is like for you and THEN make a desicion? Hope the appeal goes better then the crock of shit they've dished out to you now.

That sux! I'm glad you're appealing, and I wish you the best. It's crazy the loopholes people are forced to jump through in order to get what any halfway decent society would provide to it's members by right. And American is supposed to be the land of the free??

What utter bullshit. It sucks that decisions like this are made by people who are completely unqualified to judge these situations properly. I hope the appeal goes well.
