The tasty and the really sour

This past weekend it was time to try out another new recipe, this time for lemon crumb squares. This meant making a crumbly biscuit base which would also be the topping and a lemon filling. It actually wasn’t too complicated to make and I had a great baking tray to use for it which made everything easier - a great tray for tray bakes. The filling

The lemon crumb squares look absolutely DELICIOUS! They remind me of Key lime pie, which is one of my favourite desserts. :-) In any case, I can understand how either a member of your congregation or a wrestler might gain emotional comfort from such a yummy treat!

I'm sorry about the various power cuts you've been experiencing. I can understand why they would make you anxious and disrupt your sleep. It's hard to relax enough to sleep after something like that. I hope the special fuse will switch the power back on if there is another cut.

I have heard of key lime pie and think it might be very delicious so thank you for the compliment :)

Really hoping the power cuts don't happen again but it sounds like it's gonna be ongoing until they sort things properly :(
