Definitely interesting and that's a good thing, mostly.

I'm going to file this bake under 'interesting.' Not because of the taste - it tasted delicious and not overly sweet. I'm loving this recipe book for delicious cakes that aren't sickly at all. Despite the crumbling, the molasses pecan crumb cake sounds like it was a big success! :-) Even with the crumbling, it was still delicious, so I'd say that was a win. All the same, it will be interesting to see if cutting it differently (or waiting for it to cool) will make a difference.

I really is delicious, despite the epic crumbling! Always nice to try a non-sicky sweet dessert, my fave kind :)
