Double dose

A couple of bits of September baking. Two new experimental bakes, both from my Hummingbird bakery book. First up, 7Up pound cake (or lemonade cake I guess, if you don’t know 7Up). It looks and sounds as if both of these new recipes were a big success! :-) It's great that the silicon loaf tin has been working out so well. Same goes for the paper cases for the cupcakes. I'm sure it won't be long before you've worked out how best to fill the icing bag.

I have to confess that I had my doubts about the tomato soup cupcakes as I'm not a huge tomato person, but they actually sound pretty delicious based on your description.

They're both unusual recipes that actually turned out really nicely so I'm pleased. I especially liked the tomato soup cupcakes; really tasty :)
