Olympics #4 - The ceremony that closes it perfectly

I just remembered that I didn't say much about the closing ceremony, which I watched and enjoyed. There was a lot in it that I really loved. Some stuff, not so much. Overall I thought it was great, though not as great as the unbeatable opening ceremony. This was more of a 'Britain's Greatest Music Hits' event.

Excellent report as usual! To be honest, I could have done without Russell Brand, but I enjoyed all the other acts, especially Annie Lennox, George Michael, the Pet Shop Boys and Madness. Oh, and the wonderful Eric Idle of course! :-) I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't help thinking of Fitz from Highlander when they see Roger Daltrey! *g*

Oh I do adore Fitz. He was such a great character and so well played by Mr Daltry. Love that show.

And the closing ceremony was very fun I thought. It certainly made me smile, especially Eric Idle :)
