I'm totally disgusted by this. She has so much fucking celebrity-rich person entitlement she can't see the forest for the trees. She admits to not knowing anything about him AT ALL before any of this and basically judging him by their "meeting". Yeah, I'm sure he didn't put on an act for her or anything. Maybe she could get off her fat ass and do a little research about his positions and his theology before she rushes to judgment. Sorry, Melissa, the rest of us HAVE been paying attention to his hate- and fear-mongering the past several years. Just because he preaches about poverty and AIDS in Africa, it does not negate his years of venom-spewing about gays and women's rights. He still believes being gay is a "sin"--a "sin" that sends you to hell--and as long as he believes that, he can't be trusted. It means his ultimate ulterior motive--whether he admits it or not--is that we're all "saved". He has no interest in tolerance or acceptance. She needs to get a fucking clue and a grip.
