Titles Need to Burn

I started thinking about a line from one of Wong Kar Wei's movie (I believe it was in "Fallen Angels"). There was this cool, calculating hit-man who had a short fling with a girl he met (oddly enough) at a McDonald's. Yeah, and what the hell is up with all of this? It seems like spring has become the worst time of the year for love. I've broken up three times now in the spring. And I began both of my major relationships in October. Let me change that quote to, "I was merely her fall guy." :)

A lot of my interludes have gone sour in the spring as well. Fall and winter have been the romantic times. I think it either has something to do with the school year, or being more vulnerable during the depressing seasons and thus, reaching out more. But, really, what do I know?

Hey, at least you have all summer to get over each other. It beats breaking up in autumn and having to sit through the cold cold winter with the holiday seasons without anyone close. And if you somehow make it through Thanksgiving and Christmass without slitting your wrists, Valentine's Day comes to finish you off. :-)
