Very cool menu. I admire your ability to plan meals ahead of time - I can do that but for just the two of us, it's weird and we end up with four days of leftovers in a row. I also admire your ability to have a live-in chef. :-)
I like the Jenifer St. Market for wine, which works because I also like it for meat and beer. The store is small and cramped, the check-out girls dizzy and uninvolved, and the meat counter guys can be really frustrating from time to time, but the quality is there and worth it. Also the mango-pineapple salsa they put out on weekends near the deli is sometimes the only reason I drive there to get my papers on Sunday mornings.
I hope your weekend has been much less stressful than last week, and you are fortified for the path the lies ahead.
How'd that Spanish Syrah turn out? I ended up flinging together a fancy-ish brunch on Sunday, matter of fact - Hollandaise sauce and all. Been a long time - and I need an omelette pan, the one I used was too small. But how was the Syrah?
