I had a feeling where this was going, but I told myself to let it play out...and it was a little punch to the gut. Made me curious as to what happened to the first Sheriff Stilinski, too.

I'd like to think there was a wonderful wedding, a caring sheriff mentor for Deputy Derek, a previous badge/name issue, and a painful loss that they helped each other through - including Stiles telling Derek he really should (and could) step into the role their (!) father once held. ::quiet sobbing::
