Yeah, me too. This hurt to write. I do have this whole long future in my head for these two, and this certainly wasn't in there O.O But the prompt put this in my brain, and that was that. In my head, they totally get back together, because Derek's a bit of a dick here but he'll eventually come to his senses. So there should be a fixit in their future :)
