Thanks. I'm glad you liked the ceremony. I must have mucked about with that scene a zillion times before I ended up going with something that was pretty much identical to the original draft.

The way the vines worked was so much cooler than a wedding ring. Also, I loved seeing Firenze! I'd be interested to see how he's getting along since he was bonded. I loved the detail about how his markings showed that relatively few promises had been made in his bonding.

Also, Cecily is perfectly adorable.

Thanks. I'm glad you liked the alternative to the wedding ring.

Firenze is getting along okay. I may do a short one shot for him to show how he is getting along, if you really want me to.

Cecily is a sweetie, and probably the only female OC that has never been complained about. Everyone seems to adore her. *touch wood* it stays that way.

*cough* Well, no pressure. ^_^

I don't know if I was ever someone who complained about your OFCs, but if I ever have complained about Charlie, it's less because she's not a well done character and more because she strongly reminds me of a couple people I know in real life who have gotten on my nerves. So in a sense, it's actually a compliment. She seems very real. Real enough to drive me crazy. ^_^

Most of the complaints about Charlene came from readers at ff.net who have long since abandoned the story, so it isn't likely that you were one of them.

I'll see what I can do about the one shot, though no promises on how long it will take me to get it done.

I loved the bonding ceremony! The bathing away of past mistakes and starting with a clean slate, as well as the way the pattern the vines made of their promises to each other was so beautiful. And seeing Firenze again was a nice bonus:)

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it now that you have seen it in the context of the whole story.

Thanks. I'm glad you like the Centaur marriage/bonding ceremony... and little Cecily, who could not, unfortunately, sneak out to the ceremony since it was too late for her to be up. ;-)

Ah, the bonding chapter...

I've lived through dozens of angsty chapters telling myself to hold on because this scene would more than up for it. And it was so worth all the pain. This is utterly beautiful, and I'm so moved with the whole ceremony.

Now, we wait for the angst to come back.

::takes a deep breath::

Ok, I'm ready. Bring it on!

Thanks. I'm glad you liked the chapter.

Of course there is more angst still to come, but not until the latest stock of tissues has arrived.
