Wonderfully written chapter. However, I am a bit disappointed in McGonagall's reaction to everything. I mean, she seems to have completely focused on the fact that they were dealing with Peter. I would have found her more likable if she showed some emotion other than standard schoolteacher...

The way I see McGonagall in this situation is that she is very surprised to see the boys back like this. But rather than let on that she is surprised she falls back on the fact that she is a teacher and does what she does best. Besides, she really does care about all the students and many of them will have been rather traumatised by the events of the previous term when the school became a literal battle ground, she was only thinking of them.

However, once she is less stunned she will be popping up again and perhaps she will be a bit more to your liking then. She needs time to recover from the shock of having the infamous marauders back at Hogwart's.

Lovely! I've been waiting to read this since it was posted but haven't the time until now! I love the update and can't wait for more. Also, saw the trailer for the new movie today and it put me in the mood for this strangely

Glad you liked the update (and that you found time to read it).

I haven't seen the new trailer yet, though I saw the previous ones. I just get kind of annoyed with it since it is nearing what would have been the release date if they hadn't put it back to next year. *gripes and glares at greedy WB bosses*
