It's hours now since I first read this chapter, but as you can see, it's still on my mind! I don't know if I mentioned how much I love the level of detail you have here. Your tale reads fast, funny, sexy and smooth so you don't see the bones. Well conceived plot without holes, good characterization and dialog and professional writing.
The backgrounds the boys want for their portraits are both original and brilliant!

I thought that I had figured out my problems with ff.net when I went into internet explorer and specified the site as OK but soon I couldn't review again! I've found that I often must click out of my email, to any other site, then I can review tales on ff.net!

The next chapter of Once in a Blue Moon went to Kimmie at the end of last week, so hopefully it will be online by the end of the month or soon after it.

FF.net was just not loading the pages for me. I think it has something to do with their new layout as every time they start mucking about with stuff it slows my browser down for a few days. It was only by sheer persistence I got it to upload chapter 2 at all.

Wow, this is pretty amazing so far. I have these visions of this story going on for a really long time, after all the Marauders are dead, and them finally getting their confrontation with Peter after all that he's done. Please, please, pleeeeaaaase tell me that's where you're going with this. I'd love you forever :)

pretty funny (and an original idea, i'll give you that), but phineas could have left his portrait if he didn't want to see that, no?

Yes, any of them could have since they all had the run of Hogwart's paintings even if they had no other paintings elsewhere.

I imagine it was probably like a train wreck though - no matter how much you want to look away, you just can't.

Plus, in Phineas's case he would have been trying to discourage them and shouting threats at them to try to make them stop...before he eventually realised that only telling them what they wanted to know would get them out of there.
