Author's Notes: This is a very different outcome than I was thinking I would be submitting. Satomi seemed to have something to say to Stiles, and so I'm giving her a chance to say her piece.
Emissary,
Word of your strength and protectiveness is spreading beyond the borders of the Hale territory. Some of your potential visitors have come through my territory and my pack have warned them not to mess with the Hales anymore, nor any who come under the protection of their territory. We hope this has helped provide some relief in this time of transition for you and your pack.
I regret being unable to contact you for these many months. After breaking the deathly bond and teaching your nurse, your father, and your Alpha what to do to help you and Jackson recover, I returned home and retired from view for a while. I had been sapped of my werewolf healing, but it has been returning and I am nearly restored.
Please be gentle with yourself: Nothing that has happened was your fault, and it could not have been avoided. As you learn, you will become familiar with magical energies, and intuition will guide your spark in healing and protecting the Hale territory.
Soon I will have fully recovered, and I will request an audience with your Alpha, with you and Jackson, and your pack. Tales of your love are shared fondly even among those in my pack. Your Alpha is fortunate to have you both, and your bond is a fundamental component in how quickly you are restoring the magical protections that have withered for so long.
As you complete your physical recovery and exercise yourself to the outer limits of your magical talents, I suspect you will feel a discomfort that is difficult to name, and which discolors your magic in ways too subtle for others to notice, but which will stand out to you as simply wrong. This is your personal self trying to heal, and it will take longer than you realize. Jackson will likely feel similarly challenged and unsettled. Share with him so that he will not feel so alone in his own struggles.
