Scott and Isaac huddled close together as they toasted marshmallows over the small fire they made in the backyard. It had been a busy week fighting supernatural after supernatural and Isaac had convinced him to take a small break.
Everyone else had been busy, most of them wanting to catch up on their school work, so Scott and Isaac had the bonfire to themselves. Isaac raided the kitchen for stuff to make s’mores as Scott built the fire and set up a couple of chairs.
Isaac rested his head on Scott’s shoulder, as he stuck another marshmallow in the fire. “We should do this more often,” he commented, taking the marshmallow out and placing it between some chocolate and graham crackers. He took a bite and made a content sigh. “Maybe on a day where the whole pack can join us.”
“I don’t know, I kind of like being with just you,” Scott said, smiling. He made his own s’more, some of the marshmallow sticking to his lips.
Isaac laughed and leaned in to lick it off. Scott started to laugh as well and pushed Isaac away. “Isaac!”
“What? I didn’t want to waste any,” Isaac said, batting Scott’s hands away and moving in for another kiss. Scott made a small noise and kissed back, wrapping an arm around Isaac.
“I love you, Isaac,” Scott whispered, when he pulled back a few minutes later.
“I love you too, Scott.”
