I've decoupled my LiveJournal feed from my boy-mode Facebook account and, instead, fed it into a Yahoo! Pipes, along with Through the Shutter: The Blog of Stopped Motion Photography, Miss Violet DeVille, my StoppedMotion Twitter Feed, and this LJ account into one mega RSS feed

I was thinking about it but all the intersections of amber and photography are bad because lenses should really never be amber. XD

Actually I went looking because I was curious and I don't see the post you're referencing, so I'm like not the only one who missed it. So you might get more "oooooh yeah okay not a big surprise but" comments. XD

For the LJ username, it depends a bit on whether you're going for something completely different, or want some sort of connection to the current one.
In the latter case, both ambergnome and violetgnome appear to be available :-)

There are parts of me that wants it this summer but I need to make sure I have all of my I's crossed and my T's dotted, if you know what I mean. :)
