One person showed up for game this evening. I was considering calling tonight the last game of the chronicle due to declining interest before tonight's game even started.

It's no longer a consideration at this point.

Well, if it's any consolation, two of your players are in california right now?

It honestly sounds like the game really kind of ran it's course already. I't really hard to keep games going for a long time without big huge save the world type plotlines.

On the upside, calling it now means you don't turn it into something like EC. *shudder*

I knew that sylvan and gaaneden were down in California, but there were others.

Something that I've learned is that players tend not to want to be involved with something when they know it's going to end. The question comes up of, "Why bother?" Crimson Dawn was coming up on it's predefined end point any way, April 2007, so I'm ending it now.

Yes, there always is that upside. :)

As I mentioned to bluewingedcat, I've found that as the game tends wind down, interest from the players drops. I'm okay with that, though a migh frustrated. On the plus side of things, Scott and I worked through some combat systems. You think I crunch numbers, you should've seen him putting his math skills through their paces, cursing that he didn't have his programmable calculator. ;)

I wasn't sure if the Vic game was still going on. The post back in Nov/Dec about wanting to finish up loose ends made me think you had stopped it back then. And I have been wanting to go for a while now. Sadly this past weekend would not have worked for me due to it being Mike's Bday weekend and I spent the whole weekend with him. When is the next game, if you have a next game?
