I have a few questions that dearly need answering. Should you be able to answer any of the following, I would be most grateful.

1.) How does time function? Is it possible for multiple eras to converge?

2.) Are there many witches and/or wizards in the city?

For those of you I have not met, my name is Tom. I wish you all well.

I'm not positive about the first, but it seems to be possible, seeing as I've met my future son.

As for the second, there seem to be a few. Myself included!

You've met your son? How delightful. Who might he be?

Wonderful.

More confusing than delightful, if you ask me. Who? Oh, he's a fellow that goes by the name of Harry Potter.

Harry Potter... [Cue a very thoughtful tone here.] Yes, I believe I have met him.

So you are his mother, Miss Evans?

I'm ill-equipped to answer your second question, but the first is something I familiar with.

Simply put; yes. It is possible. It might even seem redundant considering the very construction of this city is based on that notion. Rest assured that there do exist some beings who can transcend the times of different eras -- and even different worlds -- to meld them together, forming what I would call a...mess of a reality.

[A chuckle.] But just because it's possible does not mean it's encouraged to be done. On the contrary, doing so is a universal crime.

I would think such time travelers would be taking a grave risk. Should they change too much from era to era, the future might be doomed.

[He sounds amused.]

I have an idol, you see; someone I would dearly love meeting. If he were to arrive within the city, I would be most grateful to Vatheon.

Oh, indeed. But to ensure that that does not happen, there are individuals who come and make things right again. Those involved in the actual merging of times won't be punished, of course. The burden of eternal imprisonment falls on the being that is responsible for said time distortion.

[He catches that amusement and feigns his own, though he wonders to himself why he would think being forcibly taken from your world to live in a bubble was a good thing.]

Grateful? Hehe, that's rather unexpected to hear from a human.

[What strange creatures.]

I would expect nothing less.

[Tom has an odd view on things. Then again, he is hoping to meet someone very special to him. It wouldn't be possible in his world.]

Humans are ungrateful creatures, aren't they? Thankfully, I am better than them.

Hello Tom. I'm Celes.
[Thoughtful pause before she answered.]
Yes for the first from what I've seen. If you mean magic users, then quite a number. If you are referring to those of your world then I can't be of help there.

A pleasure, Celes.

[He hums curiously.]

Is that so? Are you one of said magic users?

Nice to meet you as well.

I am. Just a couple spells really.

Well, as for the time function I've gathered it can be a bit tricky. Two of my friends from my home world are also here in Vatheon but we're all three from different time lines.

As for witches and wizards I'm really not sure. But I'm an Alchemist, if that counts for anything?

Was there no rhyme or reason to the time periods you were chosen from?

Alchemy is a branch of Potion Making. Yes, it does count.

I'm not sure. It's possible. I'm from the most recent or... "futuristic" time line out of the two of them.

Well, I wouldn't exactly label myself together with potion making, though I do know of it from previous studies to an extent.

What sort of creations have you...crafted? I am not as experienced with Alchemy as I would like to be.

Well, you can't really say that time flows differently here. Seems to pass the way it did back home, with months and days and everything. Not much of a change except for the fact I can't really tell what year it is. No one seems to want to say anything about that when you ask them.

[ The second question makes him pause though. ]

Uh... I know one witch in this city.

And my name's Luka. Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Tom.

That is reassuring. [He pauses in order to not seem too eager, but...]

What is her name?

Charmed, Luka. How long have you been in this interesting city?

[ He's slightly hesitant at revealing too much information as he IS quite the protective boyfriend. ]

Bayonetta. Possibly not the kind of witch you're looking for unless you know about the Umbra Witches.

[ And a slight pause as he seems to settle himself somewhere, possibly leaning against the wall. ]

Been here since October, I think. Sometime around that. A few months.

I am not aware of the Umbra Witches.

[But he will find out more about them. Hopefully.]

That is quite a long time. You must miss your home.
