I have friends who swear by the Lose It! app - seems like a cool and functional bit of software!

It really is. It helps keep me aware of what I'm doing so I don't slip off into fattening foods for too long. A high calorie day once a week is fine but I see if I keep going. So yeah, it helps keep my focus really well. Better than I ever have before.

You're doing awesome - 25 pounds is a lot! I can understand why those 3 refound pounds are irkin' ya. Sounds like you're right on top of it - the main thing is to get on 'em and chase 'em right back where they came from. "Hello universe, I has pounds for you!" In my case, this would be a crucial time - all too easy to slip back into the old habits to celebrate, then back into the old habits because I'm bummed that I gained a couple of careless pounds, blah blah blah. Just get back on the horse, that's all. Yay for good healthy walking and portion control and eating good food. We're lucky people, and I figure we should take care of the luck we've been given. We have food, and we have enough space and peace to take care of our bodies. Lucky!

That's the thing, a celebratory day is okay but too many days in the red and I'm very visually aware. Even before the pounds stick to me.
I'm so far, having a low calorie week. But today I started high and am still probably going to have BBQ. So we'll see. I've been good all week though.
I also make sure to have a little chocolate every day so I never feel deprived.

It'll be better once you can run again. I'm looking forward to this fall, going to go after that last 50 :) Amazing how all that elliptical work helped on playa this year, was never tired of riding or walking. Burning off 500+ calories on a run + 500 on the elliptical allows for big lunches or dinners :)

It's cool enough to walk again now.
So I'm gonna go walk with Jamie, maybe even today. Then we'll get to running again as soon as I think I can.(she's very patient)

I mean hell, I'm literally 30lbs lighter than I was when I started running this spring. It should be easier...right? Pneumonia recovery notwithstanding.

Bob says I can join the Y again(he's the money man) so I'll be ellipticalling myself to thinnerness soon.

I have 30lbs left to get to my 1st tier goal. Which may be my end goal. Depending on whether my body is done or not. Hunter does take nearly 600 cal a day.
