That sucks about the shoes. They have good running ones at Academy for not too much.

I'm in the studio any time. I went in the house around 11pm last night. Maybe midnight.
And if I misunderstood:
I go to the gym in the mornings. 10am-11:30am.

I asked my trainer once at my gym why I couldn't run barefoot. She said people used to do that at the gym but then there was a nasty strain of staph going around and one of the barefoot runners caught it on a treadmill that someone hadn't cleaned properly beforehand, and that's why the rule is there.

Still, that sucks you can't run barefoot. :(

Theoretically, talking pure physics here and not counting things like atomic powered springs in the heels of the shoes nor things like enemies that lay caltrops on the running track, you should run a little faster without shoes because you don't have to spend energy moving shoe mass.
