It's important to let children hear much and find much so their little brains can grow up to be bigger-than-our brains. Who knows how Arts and Sciences will be embiggened by their early practicing upon the shoulders of giants.
I censor music selection in front of my kids based on what my kids can't stand. As the overlap between what the oldest likes and what the girl likes isn't as big as it might be, it gets interesting in the car sometimes.

Also, They Might Be Giants makes great kid-targeted stuff, although I would happily expose my kids to their whole portfolio.
