Thanks to my cat Morrigan, I had the unique experience of crushing a severed mouse head under my bare foot last night. Luckily, I'm not easily grossed out by dead things. It was more of an "Aw man, wtf Morrigan. Seriously. Did you have to leave it *right there*?"

Now I can't even put it in a jar.

It's like getting an ill-fitting sweater from your grandma. She means well with the gift, but it's not something you can really use - bonus for being ~almost~ the right gift. The cat was trying.
My "favorite" cat gifts: A dead bird - left on my pillow - while I was sleeping; the hind end of a mouse (its butt and tail); and just the - I am not sure which - liver or stomach.

You know, I actually *can* use the little dead things. I put them in jars. But not after I step on them...

Ha, dead dismembered stuff on your pillow? Definitely NOT a win.

My childhood calico cat (named "Calico" of course) would leave me tails on my pillow. Just the tails.

haha, my cat isn't usually this bad, she brought in a full dead rat only 3 days ago. It's in a jar now. :)
