hm... i guess a mod does what she thinks is right, but what if a person does not go online everyday? and she posts something that is not easy to repost, like a download link that expires in a few days or a long text or translation she does not have a copy of? wouldn't it be a shame if such posts got deleted because they were not properly cut or locked?

^^°°° just a notion ^^

Yeah. I was thinking about that too. We'll try to notify them as soon as possible.

For me, if it were something important like that, I'd more thank likely save a copy of it- like a translation, or a download link.

It would be a shame to just delete a post like that, so we'll try our best.

Just a suggestion here (because I had the same problem in my own community) is that if it's an appropriate post but just not cut or locked, what I do is reply to the message itself (so that the original poster gets the email) stating that I'm going to delete the message because of the incorrect way of posting, but that I will re-post it for them the right way and with credit. Then I delete the message and re-post it with the credit. That way people don't have to wait for the changes to be made, the post isn't permanently gone, and the original poster still gets credit for the post itself.

Oh no, don't worry about it at all. We just realized that we didn't have a limit. It's no problem.

And thank you very much for fixing it. ^_^
