Perhaps he's trying to figure out information as to where he currently is, or maybe something which could help him navigate about this place

[The last two weeks have been difficult for Yukio. Moreso than they already should have been considering their location and situation. Rin's sudden disappearance resulted in a marked lack of eating and sleeping in the remaining twin, and he's had barely twenty-four hours since Rin's return to recover.

Needless to say, he's nowhere near prepared for this. How can someone prepare for something like this?

He fixes Shiro with what was probably meant to be a cold glare, but there's something wavering behind it.]

[Oh hey, it's a priest. One from True Cross, even, since Night can recognize the pin Shiro wears. Though it's slightly different from the pin Night wears, so he can tell this guy is not from his world. He's probably from Rin and Yukio's world, and Night decides to ask them about that later.
