I was just having the most interesting conversation with one of my RL friends and needed to share.

We were both blown away by the similarities between the triangles going on in both The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother. ( CUT IN CASE YOU AREN'T CAUGHT UP )

Funny, I've said this exact same thing! The only difference, sadly, is that Ted/Robin is not the show's main ship because she's not the mother but Leonard/Penny IS the show's main ship. Sad...

Yeah, if only we had a big CANCEL button for any P/L hints or interaction we didn't like. The Ted/Robin people know it was doomed from the get go.

If only the time machine had worked, then we'd have something.

Okay so I'm reading this because I clicked on your 'would you like an enema?' tag because I was trying to figure out what, exactly, the heck it was referring to.

And all I have to say, as I frantically try to watch seasons four through six of HIMYM because as usual I am late to the party, is YES. YES and YES and YES. Because the parallels, they are there.

Except I don't think I would ever write a Barney/Robin/Ted threeway. Which is weird, because since when do I ever not write weird pairings?
