I saw the promo pics for Shadow Hearts 3 over at shadow_hearts (♥ to callo) and it led me to go buy Shadow Hearts 1 and 2 at Fry's today for $30 (SH1 was a promo included with SH2). I couldn't believe my luck! I asked the game guy associate and he found it for me from the back! I went right after work since it was on the way home. I thought it was a scary game ( Read more... )

Yay! I'm glad that I indirectly got you interested in playing Shadow Hearts. It's truly a great game. How far are you into the first one (or have you moved onto the second one now)?

I started playing SH2 first and I got up to Anastasia part where you beat up that assassin and that pendulum monster. I stopped and am now playing SH1 but I just started and haven't gone far!

This is kind of a late reply, but you should definitely play the first one before you continue on with the second. There are some scenes in Covenant that are coming up that you will enjoy and understand a lot more if you have played all of the first game. Honestly, I almost like the first game better than the second just because the relationship between Yuri and Alice was such a focus of the first.
