Author’s Notes: I’ve been wondering in animeland when I checked my lj and remembered, “I still have lots of fics to post! D:” . since I’m too lazy to type those in my notebook, I’ll post this TakaYamaChii fic that’s been covered with virtual dust from the long time it’s been stored in my drive xD. Jasmine, I am soooo sorry for forgetting the InooJima fanfic!! Afrer this I promise to post it! And, well, douzo! :3
Chapter 1:
Chinen continued o cry on Yuto as the older boy began to worry that his uniform/costume would get wet. He doesn’t like it that Chinen would always be sad and cry whenever Takaki comes and gets Yamada after every Scrap Teacher taping. He patted the little guy and whispered on his ear, “Nothing will happen to you if you always cry like that. Remember your promise to Daiki?”
He wiped Chinen’s years away as Chinen stopped crying. Now that he stopped wasting his tears, he just stared blankly on the floor, still sitting on his desk in the classroom. Silence crept over them and in the room until they noticed that last cameraman fixing up and asked, “Aren’t you boys going home? We’ll continue shooting tomorrow.”
Checking is Chinen’s sleeping, Yuto continued to hold him, “Don’t worry, we’ll just wait for Daiki.”
“Okay. I have to go now, so you’re going to lock the studio,” he said as he threw the keys to Yuto. He waved goodbye and left. (A/N: did they shoot at a real classroom? 0.o)
A few minutes later, Daiki came, “I’m sorry for being late. I had a good talk with Kento-kun and the boys,” he looked at Chinen’s red eyes and raised an eyebrow, “You cried again.”
The little guy grew worried and explained, “I’m sorry! It can’t be helped. You know Takaki and Yamachan-.”
“But you didn’t cry in front of me. So you really didn’t break your promise,” Daiki laughed and patted Chinen’s head, “Wanna go home?”
Chinen nodded, but let Yuto stand and he stayed on the seat. Yuto pulled Daiki to one corner of the room, holding his bag, “Are you planning to tell him now?” he said very softly, so as Chinen won’t hear anything.
The BEST member looked back, and smiled back at Chinen, who waved at him, “With his heart broken right now, I think it’s better if I keep my mouth shut,” he answered.
“Oooookay,” Yuto said calmly, “but you may now know, Yamada might have Takaki as a mistake and give Chii another chance.”
“Don’t you scare me like that,” Daiki teased, but deep inside he understands it, and now he’s worried if it is true.
Yuto is going to take Chinen home when Daiki insisted he’ll take the little guy instead. He heard Yuto whispered “good luck” to him as he took Chinen’s bag. He blushed then looked at the little guy, “Do you want me to carry you home?”
Chinen happily hopped on Daiki’s back, but this happiness soon disappeared when they happened to see Yamada and Takaki sharing one ice cream cone along the way. Daiki felt Chinen’s head on his shoulders, trying not to see his crush being with other people. Daiki held him tighter. I hope I won’t see you this sad again, he thought.
He soon got tired and let Chinen walk. No one said anything during the walk but Daiki’s mind is having trouble on whether telling what he really feels to his best friend. If he tells it, there may be a possibility that it will ruin their friendship; but if he keeps quiet, Chinen will just get hurt and cry whenever he spots the TakaYama pair.
Thinking really hard, he decided, “I’ll just go on whatever his heart tells him,” he boldly said, not noticing Chinen was surprised he broke the silence like that. Now curious, the little guy asked, “Who is this ‘him’?”
Daiki blushed bright red and denied everything, “That’s nothing! It’s just a line I like from a movie.”
“What movie?”
“Uhhh…” he panicked on thinking about a good romantic movie.
Chinen gave a big smile and laughed, “HA! I’ve got you! Dai-chan has a crush on someone,” he lowered his volume on his last sentence so that it can be heard to only the two of them
Daiki didn’t contradict this time; he’s just too happy to see Chinen’s beautiful smile again ever since he knew Yamada took Takaki. After, both of them had fun sharing jokes and stories until they reached their destination.
