Dinner at Maverick's

Last night Dennis and I went to Maverick's for dinner. The place is tiny--seats maybe 30. The food is very 'american' (vegetarian unfriendly), but the service is excellent. Dennis is very fond of this place for that reason. (It is also within the allowed 4 block radius of our home ( Read more... )

Thank you. I 100% support verbose critiques of restaurants when I can find them. Rock on, keep doing it.

Btw we learned the hard way not to eat at Cheesecake Factory on Fri evening.. 189793874 customers, 10 staff == not fun.

it is worth checking out. they use really fresh ingredients, and the service is really good. I would suggest a weeknight, though, since it gets insanely noisy when it is crowded.
