"Men, Women & Children"

This phrase bothers me, because it's so nonsensical with its categories. Though making it "men, women, boys and girls" would be no better, because that would be ignoring non-binary people even more than the original phrase does. It could be "adults and children" or just "people".

I love the word people. Although when I use it for all-women groups I have been told 'what, no can do' by annoying persons. Women are people goddammit as is everyone else. As in 'many people seek advice when pregnant'.
