It took me 4.5 hours to drive from Dothan to Baton Rouge, a trip that should have lasted 6 hours. 6:15 is an early ass time to wake up but it helped tremendously that there weren't any people on the road until I was just west of Mobile. I am officially a softball star. 3 game hitting streak, 4 straight games with a run, 3 straight with an rbi, and I hit 3 for 3 in today's game (1 double and 2 singles). And I almost had to pinch-run because one of the girls got hit in the foot and I'm supposedly the fastest girl on the team. I am definitely playing next Sunday (for the last time). ( Read more... )
