Hisoka hadn't imagined any of this -- the run of a hand down his back like a trailing glissando, sliding along every register; a staccato-like tongue flicking out, teeth grazing his skin in contrapuntal melody; mouths tangled together...
He still doesn't expect the capriccioso moments -- the silly kiss dropped on the tip of his nose; the playful mock-wrestling that leaves him pinned to the bed.
But he's learned the rhythm of the slow crescendo, sensations slurring together, cresting with a singhiozzando breath that catches in his throat and --
a moment of silence he can still hear days later.
