as a small bit of ancetdotal evidence, my Fallcon died six and a half years ago. there is STILL a very real deep pain in my heart from losing him...

that does not mean that i have not moved on, nor that i love TheEngineer less than i loved Fal. but that pain? still very much there.

and although your mother has been gone a long time, allow me to express my condolences for your loss.

the person you speak of? it would seem that teh dramaz iz strong in that one, indeed.

Oh, I get that the pain is still there. I still have some... pain from regret. (I left the hospital when she told me to go home, and even though part of me thinks she KNEW she wasn't making it & telling me to go home was her way of saving me from witnessing her actual death, I still regret leaving)

But I don't go batshit crazy whenever I hear someone wishing a parent/loved one dead.

But yes, teh dramaz iz strong from her!
