Okay, so, despite all my grumbling, I adore modding merlin_horror. But, it struck me: how awesome would it be to have a fest like it for all fandoms, including RPF and Original? I was looking around and didn't find any, so I'm thinking about making my own. It won't be running until next year (Signups in the summer, posting in October, of course), but I guess I

Awesome idea!! I've never been involved with Merlin horror because the nature of the lore and the canon don't really inspire those ideas in me. There are other fandom that do though. I'd love to be involved!

Understandable! There are fandoms besides Merlin that I wouldn't mind doing horror for (WTNV springs to mind instantly, lol) or even original. I just figured if I made a community that's more open to choices, more people might be inspired. :)

Would love to do something multi-fandom. Much as we love Merlin, there will always be other randoms that speak to us, and I can totally see myself participating in something like this with so much potential! I do art anyway for Halloween. Would be stellar to have someplace to share it other than my tumblr. XD

Meant to comment to this earlier, but I would totally be on board with a multi-fandom horror fest.

I did want to point out that there is something similar out there...there's the spook_me multi-fandom fest. (Strangely they have it set up as a personal journal instead of a community one, but anyways...)

Oh! That's so weird that they have it as a personal journal! No wonder it didn't come up when I was looking for similar communities. It looks different than what I had in mind, and it doesn't seem to include art. So I think I might continue ahead with my idea. :)
