If we can't even figure out what causes some diseases then I don't see how a nanorobot would help.
From the sci-fi angle this is interesting, but I think there are a lot of things this guy doesn't take into consideration: cancer, M.S., arthritis (may or may not be genetic, we don't know -- but who wants to live a hundred or more arthritic years?) . . . anyhow that's the pessimist/atheist in me speaking.
It's ideas like this that make me wish Asimov were still writing. Maybe the nanorobots could reanimate his corpse and then he would be half zombie half robot. Where am I going with this? I don't know.
Ohh . . . that's really good! :) I like the whole retribution for being an egomaniac and letting science run rampant theme (a good theme in sci-fi if I do say so).
